CUDA Foundations of Governance Badge

Foundations of Governance, Level A of the Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) Program, introduces you to the work of the Board of Directors of a credit union. There are unique aspects to governing an organization which is a provincially or federally regulated deposit-taking financial institution entrusted with people’s life savings as well as being an organization which is part of the co-operative sector. Foundations of Governance is comprised of two components: six preparatory online modules followed by a one-day in-class session (Foundations of Governance in Theory and Action). After completing the two components of the program, you will receive the CUDA Foundations of Governance Badge and Certificate of Completion.
